“My fate was always Veil Vulturine.”

I was waiting for this and man was it everything I was expecting and more. I couldn’t wait to come back to this world.

And Gemini is inspired by Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer - I loved that man so much … just solificies that I’ve always chosen the bad boy, the morally grey character

Can I just get it off my chest that Gemini is so hot - sweet heaven. Everything about him, the confidence, how he moves, and watching this man learn and be a more patient version of himself had me swooning.

“I am not a patient man, Veil Vulturine, but for you, I will happily wait an eternity for your forgiveness. As long as I am by your side as I wait for it.”

The man is hilarious and when he finds himself chasing Veil and feeling this connection with her he can’t help himself to let her go. But then thinking about her, and then when he sees her again knows he cannot let her go and he takes her, wants her to be his play thing - soon suspecting she is more than a petty pickpocket thief.

Their story was one that had me hooked and swooning. Their chemistry, their banter - I love a woman who can hold her own and give back what she receives and that is Veil.

And Veil baby, imagine learning that you are far from what you thought you were your whole life and trying to find out the true you, finding your way, at the same time figuring out if you can trust the servant of the god of trickery while falling for him and discovering yourself.

It’s positively the most delectable meal I’ve ever had the pleasure to consume. And I already hunger for my next serving. As long as I’m alive and breathing, my plate will always be full of Veil Vulturine.

Let me not forget the spice in this book, sweet waterfalls lol Gemini is so sexy and these characters were sexy and them together was DELICIOUS- that exhibition - listen please and thank you.

I truly enjoyed their story, these characters, being back in this world. Naomi’s writing is amazing and she just sucks me into her stories, her characters. I feel all the emotions they go through.

This is book 2 from Naomi’s Perverse City Series and you should read book 1, A Dance Macabre.
