“…but when you are loved by insanity, you learn to make excuses for their behavior, because nothing they do is out of humanity. You can’t compare one to a mundane existence. We live a life of chaos and fire, so chaos and fire is what we become.” - Luna Nox, Priest and His Anarchist

What can I say about the way Amo Jones writes a book and completely captivates you?

Should I start on the in-depth character development and plot? Or, should I talk about the mind f*cks she gives out? Maybe touch on the spice and kinks she throws in? How about the cars and style she gives each individual character?

As everyone knows, I am a HUGE Amo Jones lover. I have read everything of hers that I can get my hands on and my collection of her books spans two, soon to be three, shelves of my book case.

I love the EKC series, always have. And the names HAYES, MALUM and VITOIS reign supreme!

So when I got word that she was doing a next gen series, I knew I would instantly say, SIGN ME UP!

I expected her to make them worse than their parents, and she did. She has made the parents look like child’s play, still deadly but you know what I mean.

“You shouldn’t kill him. She trained with him. A big part of her liked him.”

“Yeah?” Priest’s arms turn rigid around me. ”Then I’ll make sure she closes her eyes before I blow his brains out.”

She kicked off Carpe Noctem with War and his Queen last year, which absolutely stayed my number one read for all of 2024, and now with the upcoming release of Priest and his Anarchist, I can say, "he is his daddy’s son”, and I can also say, the Mad Prince, well, he has stolen my heart.

I am sure Priest and His Anarchist is going to be my TOP read for 2025, unless she manages to sneak us another new release this year.

Priest Hayes is holding a tight spot in my heart. He truly is a psycho. A monster. A mad Prince that is going to shake the EKC up in the best and worse ways.
Luna Nox...oh the merging of Midnight Mayhem and EKC is forever divine, and she is the perfect counterpart for him.

I am not spoiling a second of this rollercoaster of a ride, but I CAN say in true Amo Jones fashion...she has knocked it out of the park again and I cannot wait to see what else is to come with the Carpe Noctem series.
