What This Week! (Vol. 10 2025)
WEEK: 3/16/2025 - 3/22/2025
I know that so many of you were dissapointed that there was no What This Week article last week, and for that I am so sorry! I will do my very best to make sure that, that does not happen again. I love sharing little bits of my life with you all and I would hate to deprive you of those snippets!
Last week I released the first two paid services that will be available on the website! I launched my first ever ad space listing as well as a listing for content pulls for dark romance books!
I got my first two orders and I am stunned. I am so overjoyed and exited to get to work for some amazing authors. I also created a landing page that includes all future projects and their release dates! There is something for everyone - readers, PAs, and authors alike!
What am I reading this week?
I have two content pulls due this week, so I will be focusing on those reads. However, while I’m working my normal 8am-5pm job, I will be listing to an audiobook as per usual!
This week, I decided to go with God of Malice by Rina Kent. I originally tried this story at a time that I was in a slump and just couldn’t really get into it. I figured I’d try again and see if I’m able to get through it this week!
Influencer Spotlight:
@shaniasbookshelf on Instagram
Shania is one of the prettiest soulS on bookstagram - inside and out. As she makes a return to her bookstagram, I’m looking forward to her aesthetic book pics, her upcoming kindle reads, and definitely more challenges. She recently did a “vibes I bring to the function” post and it felt so relatable! Check her content out ASAP!
Author Spotlight
This week, my spotlight goes to author Ann-Marie Davis! I have the pelasure of not only working with her, but also LOVING her work.
If it was up to me, I’d spend all day going through her backlog becasue how did I go so long without reading her books? The book that is next up for me from her backlog has to be The Harbinger. The blurb had me absolutely HOOKED.
New-to-Me Authors
Truth be told, I am not facebook friendly. I don’t really know how to use it and it’s so overwhelming for me LOL. I am trying new avenues to continue to find new-to-me dark romance authors. Hence why, this week I decided to look through a Facebook Group for dark romance to find some authors I’ve never heard of and I got so lucky! Check these reads out sometime this week if you get the chance!
