This dual POV book is the debut novel by Lizz Beasley, and what a first book it is! As always, you will want to check the trigger warnings that appear in front of the book and are also listed below. She also includes a Spotify playlist, which I love in books.

Our leading lady is Madelyn who, after running away from her dark past end. She’s got walls built up and no desire to let them down. But then one day Miles crashes into her life and leaves quite the impression on her. Madelyn's gaze turns to Miles, but someone else now fixates on her with a dark obsession. She begins to receive threatening text messages from an unknown person.

The more Miles tries to protect her, the more dangerous the hidden figure becomes. It’s then you realize you aren’t sure who Madelyn can trust, and everyone becomes a suspect.

Rating: 4/5: It took a chapter or two for me to get into the book, but once I did, I NEEDED to continue reading. I had to find out who was behind the messages. The plot was there! I became hooked, and I was shocked more than once.

Spice Rating: 3/5 peppers

The spice was spicing! Miles, Miles, Miles. where to begin with them. I would bow before him if he wanted to with the way he talks, and then the shower... forget it I’m done. We love a man that takes care of his girl in more ways than 1. That man has worked his way up to my top 5 book lovers easily.
